Our company headquarters is conveniently located within the city area East of Halle (Saale) in Thüringer Straße 30 and is very good both by car and by public transport reachable.

Leipzig/Halle Airport (LEJ) is approximately 25 km away, and the main train station is a convenient 8–10 minute walk from our location.

Engineering structures made of reinforced concrete

In the field of engineering structures made of steel and reinforced concrete, HAL-Engineering GmbH covers the entire life cycle of a building – from analysis and planning to tendering and construction supervision to maintenance. We carry out static assessments and evaluate supporting structures with regard to safety, load-bearing capacity and durability. Structure inspections according to DIN 1076 are also part of our range of services.

In addition, we conduct site surveys, condition assessments and preservation of evidence as well as the planning of repair and renovation measures. Our expertise includes industrial plants, machine foundations, bridges, basins, tunnels and underpass structures. Thanks to our construction support and on-site construction supervision, we ensure that buildings can be operated in a permanently safe and economical manner.

Plant engineering

HAL-Engineering GmbH offers holistic plant engineering for a wide range of industries – from process engineering to the finished plant.

We completely develop and design plants and plant components and ensure the precise dimensioning of all relevant components without losing sight of technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness and operational safety.

Our experience ranges from plants for the food, chemical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries to plants for mechanical and thermal processes. In addition to new developments, we revise and optimize existing production processes. On request, we accompany the manufacturing, we will support you during commissioning and prepare the necessary assembly and operating documentation.

Pressure vessel, plant and pipeline construction

With years of experience in this field, HAL-Engineering GmbH performs all design and development tasks – from site purveyance to the design and the auditable documentation. Based on planning sketches, specifications or on-site technical assessments, we develop safe and standard-compliant solutions for pressure vessels, heat exchangers and tanks. We take into account all the applicable regulations and guidelines, such as the Pressure Equipment Directive, the Water Resources Law (WHG) and many prevalent national and international standards and guidelines.

We prepare verifiable design and calculation documents for the preliminary examination at an accredited testing body (e.g. the German TÜV, Dekra, Lloyds, etc.) and provide professional support during the entire approval process.

  • Testable design / certification in compliance with AD-2000, DIN EN 13 445 / 13 480 , ASME VIII
  • Pipeline planning / routing, pipe statics, pipeline isometries
  • Application of other accepted technical standards (e.g. FEM calculation).
  • Dimensioning of pressureless containers / vessels, tanks in compliance with DIN EN 1993-4-2 (Eurocode 3) or DIN EN 14015 (e.g. Flat bottom tanksthe in accordance with DIN 4119 or containers in accordance with within the meaning of DIN 18800).
  • CAD drawings (2D/3D) and the preparation of all documents required for the purposes of a design examination.
  • EC – Conformity assessment and declaration, CE marking
  • Compliance with all safety requirements
  • Testable design / certificates and calculations for tanks for the conveyance of dangerous goods – Metallic pressure tanks:
  • Calculation and construction of the tanks in compliance with ADR/RID/IMDG (DIN EN 14025)

Development and design, including steel constructions

HAL-Engineering GmbH develops and designs custom-engineered solutions in mechanical engineering, plant, steel and reinforced concrete construction. From the initial concept to the design and detailed construction, we support our customers with our technical precision and high standards of functionality and cost-effectiveness. The result: robust, low-maintenance, and functional constructions that are custom-engineered to the respective application.

In steel construction, we create sustainable, standard-compliant constructions that have been engineered for optimum functionality and static stability.

Technical calculations

Technical calculations form the basis for safe, durable and economical products, technical plants and structures. HAL-Engineering GmbH supports you with sound static calculations, strength, flow and vibration analyses throughout the entire planning and development process.

With the help of modern numerical methods and powerful finite element method (FEM) software, we analyse stresses, deformations and material behaviour – both linear and non-linear. In this way, even complex buildings and components can be analysed, optimized and designed in a realistic manner.

In addition, we carry out the classical design of machine elements up to natural frequency / modal analyses of a wide variety of components. Custom-engineered solutions such as the design of pulsation dampers for piston pumps are calculated precisely and implemented constructively at HAL-Engineering GmbH.
